Man Utd: Crash and Burn.... again!

Man Utd failed to reach the knock-out stages of the Champions League for the first time in more than a decade after a 2-1 defeat by Benfica.
Needing to beat the Portuguese champions to be sure of their place in the last 16, Sir Alex Ferguson's side again failed to win on their travels in Europe and other results on the night meant United also finished bottom of Group D and missed out on a place in the UEFA Cup in the process.
What disappointing performance by the two-time European champions! Altough they took the lead as early as the sixth minute through Paul Scholes, everything came crashing down even before the first half was over.
Looks another disapointing season! *sigh*
