Stupid Man Utd... first it was Norwich City, then WBA... today, it was Chelsea! Man Utd was defeated by Chelsea at home early this morning. The Londoners came to Old Trafford to prove a point and came away with three after a superb second-half performance.
To make it worst, the result also broke two Premiership records for most points (94) and most wins (29), which was previously held by Man Utd. What frustration! The game started brilliantly with Man Utd taking the lead in the seventh minute when Ruud van Nistelrooy scored.
However, Man Utd's lead lasted only ten minutes. Tiago scored a right-foot shot which sailed into the top corner of the net paststatic Man Utd goalkeeper Roy Carroll. @#$%^
In the 61st minute, Eidur Gudjohnsen made no mistakes and made it 2 for the blues. Eight minutes from time, Chelsea made it 3-1 with Joe Cole brining it home. Sigh..! What a waste of time!
Nonetheless, it was a brilliant game by the visiting team and looks like Jose Mourinho managed to achieve what he wanted this season (minus the Champions League). I would say, Man Utd'snightmarish stupid season continues and I seriously hope they do better than a third position next season and they better win the FA cup to salvage this disastrous season!
